The History of Doña Elba Cigars

Founded in 1996 by Don Silvio Reyes, Doña Elba Cigars quickly grew into one of Nicaragua’s leading premium cigar producers. After Don Silvio’s passing his legacy has been carried forward to Jennifer Sandino, and a team of original employees who have been with the company since its inception.

Today, Doña Elba Cigars continues to specialize in Private Label and Custom Blended Premium Cigars, earning a reputation for excellence in both domestic and international markets.

About Jennifer Sandino

Jennifer Sandino was born and raised in Estelí, the heart of Nicaragua's tobacco industry. Immersed in the world of tobacco from a young age, she began working in the fields at just 16 years old. Following in her family’s footsteps, Jennifer mastered the art of cigar making, refining her skills in selecting the finest tobacco leaves and overseeing the intricate production processes. Since taking over Doña Elba Cigars, Jennifer has dedicated herself to upholding the high standards that have defined the brand. Under her leadership, the company continues to thrive, blending tradition with innovation to produce some of Nicaragua’s most sought-after cigars.

Our Cigar Factories

At Doña Elba Cigars, we’ve been proudly serving some of the largest online cigar retailers since 2007, consistently producing over 10,000 cigars per month in our Estelí factory. Our Granada factory focuses on small-batch production, specializing in Premium Private Label Cigars. Whether for large orders or custom blends, we have the capacity to produce thousands of cigars each month, making us one of Nicaragua’s most in-demand cigar makers.
